Future Facilities is looking for an experienced software sales professional to join our electronics thermal industry team. This individual will be responsible for all sales activities related to our award-winning electronics cooling CFD software, 6SigmaET.

6SigmaET is the fastest growing software in the industry and has changed the landscape of electronics thermal simulation with unrivaled usability and built-in intelligence coupled with state-of-the-art solver and meshing techniques.


The Sales Manager role will be primarily focused on new business development activities for an assigned geographic area or named accounts in order to achieve or exceed assigned revenue targets. Key responsibilities and desired skills include:

•Hunter mentality – must enjoy pursuing new logo business in a competitive replacement market
•Identify new prospects and qualify for technical fit, need, timing, and budget
•Control sales process including web demo, benchmark exercise/trial evaluation and on-site visit 
•Articulate software features/benefits and alignment with customer needs/pain points
•Ability to understand the strengths/weaknesses of competitor solutions and position 6SigmaET accordingly
•Create and present business and technical material to match company's products/services with identified needs
•Negotiate pricing and make financial justification to senior management
•Sell products/services through face to face and phone/web contact
•Remain knowledgeable of company's products/services to facilitate sales and marketing efforts
•Use of to maintain sales records and prepare sales reports as required
•Account management and software renewals
•Maintain relationships via a regular schedule of contact via phone/on-site visit
•Alert clients to new or improved products/services
•Relay client feedback to product development staff


Candidates must have a proven track record of success within CFD, CAD/EDA or other engineering analysis fields

•3+ years in sales or customer-facing technical role
•BS degree in engineering, preferably mechanical or aerospace
•Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work independently
•Comfortable making presentations to prospects, customers and at conferences/trade-shows
•Industry familiarity and established relationships with accounts in the territory are highly desirable
•Ability to travel as required up to 50%
